Not using a primer? It’s time to include it to create a smooth base for your foundation. Try Make Up For Ever’s recently launched Step 1 Skin Equalizers.
While I always knew that a primer can make an amazing difference to your makeup base, I had always ignored it till the day I was introduced to this wonder product by makeup expert Ajoy Sengupta. This new collection – Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizers – consists of 10 primers for different skin types and needs. While five can help achieve an oil-controlled, evened out, hydrated, dewy or redness-neutralised skin, the other five aim at catering to different skin tones, ranging from pale pinkish to rich caramel. You can use them alone or can mix 2 to 3 primers together to achieve your desired base.
Tip: When you are mixing the primers, it is important to choose as per your skin’s requirement. In my case my T-zone is oily, which is why Sengupta applied Base Matifiante Shinecontrol Primer on that area and used Base Hydrante on other drier parts of the face for hydration. I’m in love with Base Matifiante, which gave me a shine-free look for 5 to 6 hours.
Lesson Learnt: It is not necessary to cover the entire face with a primer, you can use it on specific areas as per the need. You can hydrate the skin and at the same time achieve a mattifying effect.
