If nail designing is just too much for you, here’s how you can dress up your digits, minus any fuss.
I have always been experimental with my makeup. Subtle or bold, I have equally loved both looks. But when it comes to embellishing nails, my choice always rested with simple nail paint applications. I am too impatient for the meticulous, almost painstaking nail art sessions and I feel more comfortable with the classic style of simple colour application.
However, over the last few months, I have come across some smart products that look chic and classic, and what’s best is that the “art” is in simply applying the “innovative” nail colour – three nail paints which are like nail art in a jar. These hassle-free nail arts not only do away with extra steps, they also look trendy, elegant and wearable.
– Nykaa Cookie Crumble Nail Enamel – The uniqueness of this nail lacquer is that it is loaded with matte black pigments. The effect is like wearing tempting crushed cookies on your tips. I love the Gooey Marshmallow shade.
– Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color – It creates stunning 3D effect nail art in seconds! This unique formula has been specially designed with metallic particles to create a pattern of waves on the nail when the magnet fitted to the cap of the bottle is placed on the cuticle for about 10 seconds. If you like the “ombre effect”, then this is the one for you.
– Maybelline New York Color Show Party Girl Nail Paint – These runway-inspired range of colours make a cool style statement. It has an opaque finish and looks like a print on the nails. A single coat is enough to make it an instant hit.
With these three, I think, I will give my digits a makeover more often now.
