– Always exfoliate and moisturise your lips before using a matte lippie. It prevents the lips from drying, avoids cracked lines and helps in smooth application of matte shades. – When using a liquid lipstick, start with outlining lips with the edge of the lipstick applicator and then fill the lips.

– Increase the staying power of any lip colour by first shading lips with a pencil and then use the lipstick.

– Bought a nude lip shade that gives you a washed out look and planning to dump it? There’s no need to do so, apply it on top of any other lip colour to get a new shade altogether.
