4 SOOTHERS FOR ITCHY SCALP

1. Aloe Vera Aloe Vera has several skin benefits. It helps you get rid of the itchiness and dryness of scalp plus nourishes your scalp back to health. Apply Aloe gel directly to the scalp and leave for about 15 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water.

2. Eggs and Beer Eggs and beer can be used as natural conditioners. Both are most commonly used conditioners but less people know that they solve the problem of dry and itchy scalp also. While applying eggs as conditioner mix 2 egg yolks with 2 teapoons of water and 2 teaspoons of olive oil and apply the mix on hair for about 15 minutes and then rinse off with lukewarm water. Use beer after shampoo and after keeping for 10 minutes rinse it off with water.

3. Tea Tree Oil The antifungal properties that Tea Tree oil possesses can cure dry, itchy scalp. But while using tea tree oil just need to remember that it shouldn’t be used in concentrated form instead before using it dilute it with portions of olive oil, sweet almond oil or water and more portions of olive oil or water. After applying the mix leave it for 15 minutes before rinsing it off with water.

4. Olive Oil/Chamomile Oil/Coconut Oil/Sesame Oil All these oils can be used for getting rid of a dry scalp. Chamomile oil can be mixed with olive oil or sweet almond oil or sesame oil before application. Coconut oil can be warmed a bit and then massaged on the scalp for about 10-15 minutes. Olive oil can also be used the same way as coconut oil or it can be mixed with aspirin tablets for better results. Five aspirin tablets crushed and mixed with 2 tablespoons of olive oil can be massaged on scalp. All these oils need to be left on the scalp for 15-20 minutes so that they are absorbed. Wash off the oil with lukewarm water.
