GET BROWS LIKE DEEPIKA PADUKONE

The 80’s trend of strong brows is back again! Follow these simple tricks to wear them bold, thick, natural, and with an arch.

Not too thick, not too thin, just the right size and with that well-defined arch – oh we’d all want that ideal brow! But is it achievable? Well, it is if you work on it a little. Here are a few dos and don’ts that will help you nail the look:

Growing bit: The first step for achieving these brows is to allow them to really grow. Leave them alone – don’t pluck or thread, just for about a month or so. And those who have scanty brows should massage cold-pressed castor oil or olive oil before going to bed every night and wash it with a face wash in the morning. This remedy can help to a great extent.

Shape It: Creating this groomed look is not easy at all, and requires precision. If you are blessed with bushy brows then it is a bit easier as a little bit of tweezing can help you ace the look. You just need to make sure that the natural peak should align to the outer white of your eye. Not sure about it? Then get it done from a pro who is well aware about the latest trends and has knowledge about various face shapes and contours. It is best to consult a trusted makeup artist for this job.

Groom: Even after you have achieved the look you need to maintain it. Keep a tweezer handy, but make sure you pluck just the extras. Doing this once a week would be enough.

Fill In: Now coming to those who don’t have major growth, makeup tricks is what they have to rely on to get the thick arches. Avoid using a pencil as that might prove to be harsh and dark. However, you can use a soft wax-based pencil, an eyebrow pencil or powder/shadow to fill in the gaps. But just check that whatever you use it is of the same colour as your natural brow hair. While using pencil make soft and small strokes, just the way your brow hair appears. When using a shadow apply it using an eye shadow brush. You can add a bit drama by adding pigment on the outer upper half of the brow. But be cautious and don’t extend the tail too much as that would kill the look. Make similar light strokes at the inner lower brow corners to add depth to your arches. Finally, use gel and a brow mascara to give them the finishing touch.

With these easy hacks you are all set to rock your favourite celeb’s feature. Just remember you should keep the arches softer if you have a very angular, sharp face.
