NAIL IT THROUGH THE TRANSITION!

Bright, pastels and corals are for summers, and deep and dark lacquer hues are for autumn…if that’s what you have been following till date, then its time to update yourself. Read on to know which ones are winning a spot in your fall collection.

1) PALE-TALE: Pale sea-foam-green, creamy lilac, neutral grey, mute blue and soft blush pink are a few elegant and dainty shades that have made their way to your digits from ramps of NYFW and Paris. Neutral manicure is one of the trends ruling the charts in Fall 2019. You may combine it with nude makeup look and rugged jackets.

We recommend: O.P.I Nail Lacquer in Rosy Future, Colorbar Nail Lacquer in Icy Blue and MyGlamm Wanderlust in Fiji.

2) BOLD & WICKED: Deep and dark – almost-black hues are something that each one can wear for all seasons and reasons. Darkest red, deepest blue, green, burgundy, purple and plum easily form a part of all-time fall favourites, be it on ramps, at weddings or for a chilly Saturday night.

We recommend: Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour in Vendetta, Ingot O2M Breathable Nail Enamel in 636 and Revlon Nail Enamel in Knotty Berry.

3) MATTE: Can’t take the intense almost-black colours on your digits? Try neutrals. Taking shades like washed-out grey, muted lilac and powder blue up a notch this fall is the matte finish. You may spice it up even more by adding shimmer, taking inspiration from Tibi’s Fall 2019, which saw matte brown neutral accessorised with a bit of glitter. Accessorise or wear them as is pairing them with a black overcoat and dark coloured long boots.

We recommend: Nykaa Matte Nail Lacquer in Cool Blue Granita and Colorbar Matte Nail Lacquer in Lilac Syrup.

4) CORALS: Thought that corals are a thing of summers? They works well in the winters too, this bright lacquer might not have rocked the runways but are being loved by several. You might want to try one with a bit of shimmer like Colorbar Nail Lacquer in Tinker Bell. It is with hues of red and orange, which makes it perfect wear to match with your furry white/grey pullovers or you may even try it with a sequinned blazer.

We recommend: Chanel Le Vernis in Coralium, Sally Hansen Insta Dri Nail Polish in Coral Commotion and Sally Hansen Lustre Shine in Lava.

5) SHIMMER & SHINE: Layering your digits with a thick coat of a shimmery lacquer is the easiest way to be in trend and to add a sparkle to your look. This sparkling look was huge on the Fall 2019/20 runways. If you are not into too much shimmer but still want to get the shine on then you may try gemstone-inspired ranges or metallic shades. Taking cue from ramps of Rodarte you can go for a glittery lilac or a nude covered with golden glitter from Kate Spade would also look great.

We recommend: Colorbar Arteffects – Sandstorm in Pink Panther, Nykaa Mirror Chrome Nail Lacquer in Molten Sterling and Sugar Tic Tac Toe Nail Lacquer in Deep Down Diopside.
