SAY BYE – BYE TO TIRED EYES

Under eye dark circles, puffed eyes, tired eyes after long hours of work are common problems. Here’re a few DIY eye masks to get those brighter eyes.

Carrot & Aloe Vera

Carrot is full of vitamin A, which helps soften the skin around your eyes, reduce dark circles and helps maintain a youthful look. Mix 1 tablespoon of shredded carrot, 1 tablespoon of aloe gel and 1 egg white. Apply the mixture on the affected area and leave it in for 15 to 30 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.

Coffee

The caffeine in coffee will promote healthy circulation and decrease inflammation that results in dark circles and puffy eyes. Brew one tablespoon of coffee and let it cool. Add honey and vitamin E oil in the coffee. Dip cotton pads in the mix and gently squeeze out the excess. Place the pads in a clear bag and freeze them. Take them out and place on the affected area for about 10 to 15 minutes.

Turmeric & Lemon

Turmeric is known for its natural bleaching properties. Lemon juice not only lightens the skin but also helps refresh the eyes. It reduces dark circles caused by fatigue and tiredness. Mix 2 tablespoons of turmeric powder and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Apply the mixture under your eyes and leave it on for 30 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.

Kiwi & Yogurt

Yogurt is great at removing puffiness and dark circles under your eyes. Kiwi rich in vitamin C boosts and rejuvenates the skin. Blend the two ingredients and keep the mixture in the freezer for 10 minutes. Apply the mask on the affected area for 10 minutes and rinse off with cool water.

Rose water

Rose water acts as an excellent eye wash. It reduces stress and fatigue. Dip 2 clean cotton balls in pure rosewater and place them on the eyes for about 15 minutes.
